Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! For me, at least for a moment, I was able to finally get into the Christmas spirit and enjoy myself. Mr. Jayfan and I are spending the holidays alone this year without family and friends and it’s been wonderful! We cooked lasagna, clam appetizers, garlic bread and Caesar salad together for Christmas dinner and that was as much fun as eating it.
Anyway, I found a piece in MySanAntonio.com where they listed the Best of 2009: DVDs and ‘Crank 2: High Voltage’ made the list. It was in alphabetical order so the film was actually first on the list!
“Crank 2 High Voltage”: Sadistic, tasteless hitman movie with Jason Statham also happens to be an inventive and witty chunk of radical style.

That really sounds tasty Jayfan. I love lasagna… especially vegetable lasagna. I love anything with clams in it too! I had ham, mashed potatoes, sweet ham gravy, a vegetable dish, heavenly fluffs, homemade hawiian bread…and lots of desserts. From pies, cookies and chocolate covered pretzels. I started the beginning of christmas week making Baklava and within 24 hours my family ate it all, then I made a lemon cheese cake and within 24 hours it was gone. I made a double batch of tassies and 3 bags of pretzels that I covered with white chocolate, crushed nuts, coconut or sprinkles and within 24 hours they were gone. I have to admit I really enjoyed cooking this week. Today I’m taking the left over ham and having bean soup, also I pulled out one of my WOK books and I’m making some sweet ham filled tamales and sweet barbeque ham filled steamed buns…along with a fried dessert filled with strawberry and nut filling. I was going to make egg rolls but I didn’t want to go shopping(I guess I’ll be eating ham for a while)….maybe tomorrow!
