A writer for JoBlo.com has written an article about how he loves martial arts in movies. It’s one of those machoistic ramblings we mostly associate with the site…but entertaining enough. He mentions Jason and that’s why I linked it.
Jason Statham’s martial arts side took me by surprise in THE TRANSPORTER. I remember watching the trailer and thinking WTF, where were those moves in SNATCH and THE ONE? Seeing Statham break into the “action tough guy” genre was nice, God knows we need all the action stars we can get these days, and it’s for that reason I think martial arts needs to make a comeback.

I love watching movies with alot of martial arts….The Transporter has alot of action and a little comedy…with a touch of romance…which is a great combination and makes it a hit….everybody wants some kind of action…whatever the action is….martial/fighting….comedy….or romance.

I love this scene…..I watch this movie at least once a week and when the camera pulls away for a long shot and he goes into his fighting stance then does that little stutter step, whoa Nellie..hot, hot, hot. And he fights well too. I love action movies anyway, Chuck Norris, love that man, Bruce and Jet, Jackie Chan. The best.

The top 10 things you didn’t know Jason kicked ass at. I loved it Marie, especially Kit Kat commercial…I don’t recall seeing that one before…thank you
