We’re back from seeing ‘Crank: High Voltage’ and it was awesome! I laughed so hard I cried. Jason is so great in this movie. And everybody is right…Amy Smart is one lucky girl. I can’t believe she took money for doing the movie. I don’t do reviews because who cares what I think so you won’t see one from me. Besides, I don’t want to give out any spoilers. In fact, I kind of regret watching the trailers because it took away from some elements of surprise for me. I just want to say that Jason has such wonderful comedic talent and timing. He was amazing! The dog park scene was my absolute favorite. And Dawn was right, stay through the rolling end credits for some outtakes. We were the only ones who stayed behind and held up the cleaning crew, but it was worth it.

Well Im sorry for writing reviews of Jason films for this blog in that case.

I think your review was fabulous Donna Marie! I didn’t mean you. I meant me. I’ve written reviews for Adrien Brody movies at his site before and have gotten mean responses and people telling me I suck so that’s why I stay away from it. Please don’t be offended and please don’t stop posting any future reviews.

Thats that site. I really dont think anyone on here would be that rude. At the end of the day this is your blog and I think we all care about your opinions.

Thanks Donna Marie…I appreciate that! You’re sweet to say that. But I’ll just leave the movie reviews to people like you who can rite gooder. Ha!

We might go tonight, but I’m not sure. Hubby bought himself a new guitar for his birthday today, so I have a feeling it’s going to be difficult to get him out of the house . . .
Glad you guys loved it, though! I can’t wait to see it.

OH MY GOD SO FUCKING GOOD!
I LOVED it. My jaw was dropped the entire time. I loved Bai Ling, I loved Amy, I loved Clifton Collins, and crap I don’t remember Kalo’s real name ahah but he was so funny. And Jason Statham was hilarious, funnier even than the last Crank movie. This was definitely right up my alley for movies, you know? Fuck it I’m going to the mall and finding those new balance shoes tomorrow ahaha.
AHH and I loved that song that was playing towards the beginning and then he whistled it! Sorry I’m gonna start spoiling shit for people though so I’ll stop talking about it for now haha

We just got back from seeing it. I loved it and I can’t wait to go see it again. I loved the dog collar part as well. When he started barking I couldn’t stop laughing.

It deeply pains me to say this, but I was actually a little disappointed with this movie. I really loved the first half,I thought it was hilarious! I just think it went a little too over the top by the end. Believe me, I didn’t think I could ever say that about Crank 2! It just didn’t have the same magic that Crank did. Our boy was awesome as usual though…his ass looked great too…lol! Was anyone else a little disappointed?

I absolutely loved it!!!!! I just got back from seeing it with a friend and we laughed so hard through the whole thing. I can hardly wait to own it! I’ve got FBT….tff!! They sure set it up for a third installment. Jason outdid himself in this movie and Amy is just so darn lucky! 😉

I agree with you Corrina. While I think Jason got to do more acting in this one and show that he has great comedic timing among other things (wink, wink, nudge, nudge, know what I mean) I really thought it was a bit much–even for a Crank movie.
My biggest problem was that there were way too many vignettes. It was as though Neveldine and Taylor had all of these ideas that were funny or “funny at the time,” then landed awesome people for cameos that they couldn’t stand the idea of cutting some things out.
Sure, the first one wasn’t very plausible but you’re so juiced up by the constant action and the pace of it you can forgive/believe it. This one was just too indulgent and I left feeling like there wasn’t much action in it even though I know that wasn’t the case.
I’m so sorry everyone.
P.S. Has anyone heard from Gecko? Has she posted here lately?

I really enjoyed this over-the-top sequel!! I am with ya Jayfan, I wish I hadn’t watched so many trailers and clips, because some of the scenes were predictable (like you said, took away from the surprise element). However, I LOVED the movie and laughed the entire time!!! Jason was phenomenal, as always!!! Amy Smart is SOOO LUCKY- that’s all I’ll say!!! I will not give away any spoilers for those of you who haven’t seen it yet, but it was a wild ride and well worth seeing!! Can’t wait to purchase it on DVD!! 😉

The film is all over watch-movies-link.net…J was great. No one can get away with using the f word in every sentence like him.
Jason needed this to stay in the game…stupid, silly, mindless fun but his screen presence can’t be ignored.
