Kellan Lutz, co-star in the ‘Twilight Saga: New Moon’ (he plays a vampire sibling to Robert Pattinson’s character) wants to do a movie with Jason.  Thanks to Donna Marie for the heads up on this the Daily Herald piece about his dream job…being an action hero.  Nice compliment for Jason.  This dude’s in the biggest movie in the world right now and that’s what he wants to do someday.

I’d love to work with Sylvester Stallone. I’d love to work with Jason Statham and Daniel Craig. All these guys I look up to. I love shooting guns and blowing stuff up.

A while back jlm linked this pic to a comment and hinted that it would be great Slow Scroll material.  It’s a pic from on the set of ‘Blitz’.  Today is Friday the 13th so I wish everyone loads of good luck, tons of happy thoughts and gobs of positive energy.  Smile often, enjoy life and don’t forget to breathe! (Jason could have given us a smile here…too bad.  It would have made him feel so much better.  Ha!)

Thanks to Mr. Jayfan for finding this blogsite called The Pulp List which included ‘Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels’ (at #7) and ‘Snatch’ (#14) in their Top 20 Gangster movies from the last 40 years list.  We just watched ‘Snatch’ on cable last week and I laugh my ass off every time I see it.  It’s the best!

Thanks to all of you who have linked more shirtless Jason pics to your comments.  There are a ton of them out there and it’s nice to see which ones are your favorites.  However, there is one pic that Dawn emailed to me that I haven’t ever seen before and I wanted to share it.  It looks like an old one from outside the home he used to share with Kelly.  We’ve seen pictures of him carrying tvs and furniture from the car near those very hedges outside his home so I’m sure that’s where he was.

NOLA.com has reported that filming for ‘The Mechanic’ will disrupt traffic on Convention Center Boulevard Thursday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday.  They say that the shoot will be for stunt work and special effects so I don’t know if Jason will be working at that location, but it’s a good bet he will be since he likes doing his own stunts.  I would imagine they will be restricting any public access.  We haven’t seen any new pics of the filming since they started so the shooting sites must be guarded pretty well.  Good luck to anyone who decides to check it out.

Amy Smart came in first as your choice for favorite Jason co-star.  She was the luckiest co-star for sure having had lots of barely simulated sex with and getting to kiss Jason a lot.  I actually chose Shu Qui only because The Transporter was the first Jason movie that made me a fangirl.

DailyMail.co.uk has an indepth interview with Mickey Rourke and he says Jason has become a good friend.  It always seems like Jason makes new friends with every movie he makes.  He must be such an easy-going, fun loving guy.  Jason’s always struck me as someone who would be a loyal, caring, respectful and supportive kind of friend.

A lot of those who let you down are those who seemed the closest to you.

They’re the ones running out of your house with the silver when it all goes wrong, and when they jump ship that hurts. There are some people who stuck with me: Sly Stallone has always been a good friend to me. Stevie Jones (of the Sex Pistols) – he’s a good man. Mick Jones, Paul Simonon and Joe Strummer – God rest his soul – from the Clash: they were my guys. And we had a great time. I just did a few days with Jason Statham on Sly’s new film and he’s become a good friend.

CoedMagazine.com has their list of the 20 Most Anticipated Movies of 2010 and ‘The Expendables’ made it on there.  It’s only listed at #18, but out of all the tons of movies that usual are released in a year, I think it says a lot that it made it on the list.  We’re all looking forward to seeing this movie, but of course we’re a bit biased since Jason is in it.
