I so appreciate all of you taking the time to link various Jason videos, photos and news in comments!  You know my time is always limited as far as taking care of this site.  It means a great deal to me…and I’m sure to Jason…that you keep us updated.  Please don’t stop!  I’m sorry I can’t share everything that comes in because there’s so much info to process, but I’ll try to do a few things you guys have found.  Thank you Jason fans…you are the best!

European Premiere of ‘Safe’

Thanks to all of those who sent video, photo and article links related to ‘Safe’!  Lienka (congrats on your baby girl!) gave us some photo links of Jason at the European/London premiere of the film.  Dawn included the YouTube video from that night.  (Get a load of manager and executive producer Steve on the phone and hanging around in the background during Jason’s interview).  And Olive found a New York Daily News article of an interview with the little girl from the movie, Catherine Chan.

Movie Date

It was cold and rainy yesterday, so Mr. Jayfan and I were thankful to spend a nice movie date indoors at the theater watching ‘Safe’.  You know I don’t do reviews or give spoilers…just getting to see Jason larger than life up on the big screen is always a joy.  I’d be a bit bias anyway since I love everything he does.  It was so great to see a practically full house yesterday supporting our guy’s work.  And the audience was a mixed bag of men and women, boys and girls of all ages despite the R rating…that surprised us.  Jason was his usual bad ass fighting/shooting machine, but it was also nice to see him flex his acting muscles as well.  I thought he had some good emotional scenes reminiscent of his work in ‘The Bank Job’.  Of course, I wanted more shirtless Jason, but there was enough closeups of his handsome face to satisfy me.

On a side note, my wonderful enabler hubby just happens to know the night manager of another movie theater (he’s a co-worker during the day) and the Mister surprised me this week with two ‘Safe’ movie posters of my very own!  What a guy, huh?

 

Jason’s ‘Safe’

Hiya all!  I know I’ve been MIA recently, but I’m still checking in every once in a while to see what’s going on with you and Jason.  Thanks for all the info and attachments!  Dawn has linked the Youtube video of Jason doing a ‘Safe’ interview.  There are tons of other links…too many for me to post here, but you can see them in comments from my last entry.  Zimbio.com has a buttload of pics recently of Jason going to ‘Safe’ promotional appearances in the Big Apple and on the red carpet of a ‘Safe’ premiere.  Mr. Jayfan and I plan to see ‘Safe’ this coming weekend.  Hope the rest of you get to do the same if you can.

 

‘Safe’ Stills

A Happy Belated Easter to all!  As usual, I’ve had one heck of a busy schedule leading up to the holiday.  Aside from the five million Easter baskets I had to put together and tons of Easter decorations to put up, it seems like everybody and their uncle had decided to take their vacations around this time and I had to do their work…fun!  Anyway, Easter was a success and we had a great time this weekend with the kiddies egg hunt and family company.

Time to turn my focus back on Jason.  JustJared has a couple new pics and the tv spot from ‘Safe’.  The U.S. release date is set for Friday, April 27th.  That weekend is definitely reserved for a movie date.

 

Playing Catch Up

Hiya all!  I’m back and trying to catch up on stuff.  Thanks for entertaining yourselves…I appreciate all the updates.  It’s too much too late for me, but I guess I can try a bit.  Zimbio.com has pics of Jason and Rosie at LAX after New Year’s and one toothy pic of our guy at a Golden Globes after party.  ‘The Killer Elite’ is out on blu-ray and dvd….got my copy and have seen it.  It wasn’t all that bad as people said…wish it had more scenes between Jason and Yvonne…they were so good together in the film.  I thought that cover art sucked though (just my opinion).  Collider.com has the new ‘Safe’ movie poster.  I’m sure I’m missing more stuff, but it’s already taken me all I’ve got to finally post something.  Just wanted you guys to know that I’m still around so keep on doing what you’re doing.  You are stellar Jason fans and I’m sure he appreciates it!

 

‘Safe’ Trailer

Thanks to all of you who gave us the heads up on the new ‘Safe’ trailer!  This movie looks soooo good!  It’s nice to see Jason being able to use those same fight moves he showed us in the Transporter movies…one of the reasons I started liking him.

Fan Finds

Thanks to Sara for this New York Times overview of ‘Safe’ and for the heads up on a new pic from ‘The Killer Elite’.

On ‘Parker’…I found a site that says it will be filming in Baton Rouge August 5th through the 9th.  Also, the entire filming schedule will go on for seven weeks in New Orleans. (UPDATE:  Katefromua has let us know that a Twitter post has mentioned that filming in Baton Rouge has been cancelled or postponed.)
