A Happy Belated Easter to all! As usual, I’ve had one heck of a busy schedule leading up to the holiday. Aside from the five million Easter baskets I had to put together and tons of Easter decorations to put up, it seems like everybody and their uncle had decided to take their vacations around this time and I had to do their work…fun! Anyway, Easter was a success and we had a great time this weekend with the kiddies egg hunt and family company.
Time to turn my focus back on Jason. JustJared has a couple new pics and the tv spot from ‘Safe’. The U.S. release date is set for Friday, April 27th. That weekend is definitely reserved for a movie date.

Ya know what…..maybe he just didn’t want a photo of him with her getting circulated around the world–lord knows what comments the celebrity media would have been tossing around about the “two of them” when there is no “two of them.” I don’t blame him one bit–he has every right to self determine (to the extent he can) what images of him get circulated. I have no idea who she is but she looks like a bit of a floosie. Is she?

I understand that it sounds bad for him to refuse a picture with a fan however, I work a job that I am on call 24/7 and when I do get to take a vacation I just want to be left alone. So I am sure that he just wants some personal time without having to take pictures or be “Jason Statham the actor”. Sometimes you just want time to be yourself!
I also agree with C- the media would have a field day when she posted a picture of her and him on her facebook or some other social media page.

I thought it was a bit hash that he didn’t let someone have a picture taken with him but then I guess you do have time to yourself and then so many are trying to get free PR, makes sense what all of you are saying, maybe why he didn’t want to.

hmmm, dunno how to feel about statham turning down fast six. on one hand it’s a big movie with lots of exposure and fast five wasn’t bad, on the other hand it wasn’t good either and he would have joined the franchise of somebody else/maybe gotten only a small role.
well, I guess in the end it’s a good sign that they tried to get him.

Hey Sarah, “tasty” is the perfect word…remember T2- in the car – when that blonde literally licks Jason’s face off ? Well I wonder how many tastes she got (I would intentionally screw up so that scene could be shot in fifty takes) Geez, my tongue would have 5 o’clock shadow burn. Maybe that’s why Rosie’s lips always look so unnaturally swollen. Lip burn ???.

Anyone else notice that Jason’s “American” accent has improved in this film? I give actors a lot of credit when it comes to perfecting other accents~must be difficult to say the least.

@karen I think your right I found a clip of the safe premiere very short about 30 seconds but all it is showing is the clothes horse not the star. It’s a shame as he looks really nice. I will keep looking if anyone finds one please post thanks!

Hi batgirl, I had a nice holiday and hope you did also. I haven’t been able to text for a while, we have a woman who works with us who is very ill and that means more hours for the two of us remaining. When I get home all I can manage is a read or two, a bite to eat and off to bed.

I don’t understand why everyone has to keep on about getting married it’s not the end or be all. It is 2012t and there is nothing wrong with people just wanting to live together and be happy. Guess some people just have to make more than what it is and until Jason announces he’s engaged is when I will believe. Look how long Brad & Angie have been together and sometimes having kids is better then getting married, I should know as it seems to go wrong when we got married.

@batgirl2k9 Your just assuming maybe you need to read what you you wrote because it’s an opinion and until a formal announcement we can all sit and wonder. Are you with Jason’s PR or management? or maybe it’s people like you the reason why he doesn’t because you are already calling her his wife when Rosie is his girlfriend. I think you need to do some research before you make a judgement. If you are going by what is written in the mags & papers that’s not a lot to go on and can’t always believe everything you read or hear as some of it is misrepresented and nowadays it doesn’t matter if it’s Good PR or Bad PR.

I have found 2 proper reviews for Safe. weirdly enough they are both in german and a week old(even though Safe is still more than a month away in germany). one review was on a proper website(I think) and the other one was just some dude’s movie blog. I have no clue how both got to see the movie that early.
anyway, I’ll sum it up: the first 10-15 minutes are quite lengthy introductions to the backstories of Statham’s and the girl’s characters. you see Statham losing his wife, without being able to do anything against that. after that he’s a broken man. he roams new york and just as he wants to end his life, by jumping in front of a train, the little girl catches his eye and he rescues her.
after the first 10-15 minutes it’s pretty much action non-stop. though this time it’s more focused on shoot outs than Statham’s martial arts abilities.
the only flaws in the movie: the script has some logicflaws and according to the proper review the first 10-15 minutes really feel long(the blog praised those first 10 minutes, but didn’t like the rest that much? maybe? it’s weirdly written and doesn’t convey a strong opinion either way).
logicflaws are nearly a staple of action movies, so I’m not worried by that. also the girl is doing her job really well apparently, which is great, because I hate movies with annoying children.
this might be the Statham movie I’ve wanted since Crank. lots of action, lots of shooting people and a big bodycount.
