ugh. when she likes her clothes/shoes, she really likes them! i wish she’d get rid of those pants (along with those grey boots she used to always wear). i loved her in that floral dress she was photographed in leaving the market with jay. she’s got the world of fashion at her fingertips, she should use it!

what’s there to plagiarise? the story is so generic there must be 100 scripts flying around that are awfully similiar to the movie.
the most likely case is that nobody even read that dude’s script.

RIP mr stuntman. always terrible when a stunt goes wrong.
kinda sucks that Statham dropped out of Echelon. I was looking forward to that. I wonder if he dropped out, because he needed a break, or because he has better stuff lined up.
in other news JCVD was out drinking and partying again. he lost his watch and freaked out, then calmed down and left the bar at 8am. such professionalism!
and Liam Hemsworth’s role in the movie is supposed to be pretty big. I don’t know why they think they should give him a big and important role in a movie about established action stars and I don’t think he has any potential, but there you go. maybe he’ll have more screentime than statham.
Expendables 2 started shooting as a PG13 movie after all(now it’s r-rated again, but they intended it as PG13).

@Brotham I don’t really understand these rating systems as The Expendables was an 18, what was missing from the movie that it had no swearing in it. They don’t make good action man films, Only thats what men do and we’ve heard Jason do it real life but sometimes only those types of words sometimes get the point cross and I try not to swear but can’t help it when I stub my toe.
Film companies are now not writng material as it should be set and that could be why we have all these remakes or movies that they make for teenagers. A lot of the time films that people say aren’t that good I like guess it’s a difference of opinion. oh and as for manly I’m reading a lot about JCVD isn’t really that manly than once thought heard he was crying on his show not sure about what but i guess ever tough guys cry.

I would like to be a fly on the wall to see how (if at all) the actors in Ex2 interact with eachother. From the sounds of it, JCVD has got some issues or something. Sounds like a loose canon. Is it worth the name recognition factor (I’m assuming this is the reason he’s been asked to be in it–he was one of the action stars in the 80s for sure) to have someone like this in this movie?

@sara expendables had no swearing, because they shot it as a potential PG13. an american PG13 movie usually is a 12-16 in europe(depending on the violence). it can get pretty violent, but no blood. also no swearing or nudity at all(nipples are sooo dangerous I guess).
in my opinion swearing is part of it. could you imagine a Last Boys Scout with no swearing? where’d be the fun in that? I hope they get some good lines in Expendables 2
also JCVD cried because he couldn’t save the whole world. he is crazy.
@oldredhead JCVD is making movies aaaall the time. when I go to a dvd store, all I see in the action section is JCVD and Seagal. for some reason people love to watch that crap.
I’d say “consider” is the wrong word, regarding a comeback. I’m pretty sure JCVD expects a comeback and nothing less.

Since (for some incredibly insane reason) he’s in this, I can only hope he’s the one of many bad guys and our hero absolutely kicks his ass. Like I said in an earlier post – jcvd is an ass. He poo-poo’d Ex1. Seems it was beneath him at the time. Now he’s in Ex2. Go back & read Sheryl Main’s blog when the filming of Ex1 was going on – there’s plenty of stuff being said about jcvd there – and it ain’t too nice. Maybe he was crying because the truth hurts!

I guess I have been spared JCVD’s movies. I rarely go to video stores, do my shopping on Amazon and never pull up his movies. I use to love Seagal but he has gotten so into his mystic religion to the point that he seems a little pompus and above the rest of us. Just my opinion..
Some movies go a bit overboard on the f bomb and other swear words but in an action film sometime you have to get the point across.. I don’t find a few f bombs as offensive as I do nudity thrown on the screen just to draw an audience…

I was watching the first episode of the JVCD and his mum measured him for a fitting, JVCD is 5’8 in feet. So maybe we can figure out how tall Jason is. I’ve only started watching the first 10 minutes and JVCD is already crying.

News say that Rosie looks really skinny and that she it seems like that she has lost weight…I can not understand why girls want to be more skinny than a skeleton…I think it is okay to be in a good shape but when you are too skinny that it is not good for your health…When Jason really loves her he should speak with her and give her some food – I truly do not guess that a sexy body is for him more important than a healthy girlfriend with some beef on the hips or rips…

and even if she choose to be that skinny herself, I say we should cut her some slack. yes, being skinny isn’t sexy to most of us, but she is living in a different world.
she is living in the world of modelling, fashion and VIP magazines. they don’t like fat. they don’t even like the normal human shape. and if you don’t comply they will unleash hatred. not only the writers of VIP magazines, also hollywood producers and directors. I think the most famous case was ally mcbeal, where cast members were leaving, because the director demanded they lose more weight, even though they were sticks already.
it’s a strange world and a mystery to me. I wish it was different(I wouldn’t mind seeing more curves in movies…), but then again, I think it’s this way for a reason. they create an ideal that is easily achievable and thus gives them a large pool to recruit from: you just have to be skinny to fit the ideal. and it’s a lot easier to tell a woman to lose weight, than to tell her to grow breasts.

Well I really do not like the whole model industry…I also wear a size 4 or 6 but when I see these kind of models who looks like more a size -2 that a size 0 is too big for them I really think it is bad for the “normal” girls….
But does Team Statham think that it is important for Jason that his girl has the perfect model body??

Film & Model companies have one thing in mind selling their products and to make money, to make us feel like we are missing something or want what others have. Look how film now wants actress and actors to have plastic surgery. But I look at some of these people and think why they wasted their money. I saw a picture of Dolly Parton she looks terrible in my opinion.
I just don’t understand why we have to look so generic. I like the fact that women like Kate Winslet and Rachael Weisz are standing up and saying no. But that’s why nothing changes as these Models, Movie and Music Stars chose what they promote because others don’t want change. I like women like Marilyn Monroe and Beyonce and happy with themselves and their shape. I heard this line in a song and this what I want to be Sassy, Sexy and Classy. I don’t know if I’m writing correctly I read this quote in a fashion magazine years ago. A woman has to have one thing to be happy within herself, that is confidence and a woman can have that no matter what her size!!

i used be accused of being a coke addict in high school because i was naturally super tall and thin (i’d never even seen the seen the drug, let alone do it)! in my woman’s study class we had to take over the class for a day and do a topic of our choosing. i did my report on the stigma of naturally skinny women and how they actually get just as much flack as obese people.

RHW went skinny over the summer when Jason was away. We were always seeing pap shots of them out to lunch so, if she was on her own, she probably didn’t bother with proper meals and od’d on exercise instead
She had a fabulous figure I sincerely hope she is not going to stay with the la-la land diet. I can imagine VS saying goodbye if she is too skinny – their models are very slim but not sticks the underwear would fall off!
It’s a pity about Echelon as it appears that most of what he has lined up are all sequels/franchised stuff but at least he’s busy and we will get to see more (hopefully
) of him!!!

I was reading that filming won’t end until December on Expendables 2 and now due to the accident happening maybe it wasn’t out of choice that Jason had to say he couldn’t do Echelon.
This made me laugh The Sun newspaper have called her the chest in the business but it looks like she has changed newpapers as they seem to keep running articles about her now. See what you mean about being slim.

@sexysara37 #19 – My best friend from college’s mom is a masseuse and would work on sets for stars. She once worked on JCVD during a filming (prior to 2000). He is short for sure but I thought it was closer to 5’6″ from what she said (then again, my friend and her mom are 6’2″ and 6’1″ respectively!). But also, he was in the buff too. Soooo… yeah, I’d say he’s in that ballpark of 5’6″-5’8″.
