Spike TV held their annual Guys Choice Awards show last night and Jason won the Biggest Ass Kicker award over Daniel Craig! Thanks to StathamFan for the heads up and all the pics from the show in comments. We can see the show when it’s broadcast on June 21st at 10pm Eastern.

The unit publicist for ‘The Expendables’, Sheryl Main, as posted another entry about Jason. This time she’s let us know that Charisma Carpenter arrived on the set today. We anticipated her arrival because it was going to be interesting to see how she and Jason interact.
Charisma Carpenter was on set today and she is pretty cool – and beautiful – and nice. I haven’t seen her since Buffy…my bad. I’m now a fan…again. She plays Lacy, Lee Christmas’ girlfriend. I’m thinkin there’s going to be some chemistry there…from a woman’s perspective I would vaporize if a cool looking british accented badass pulled up to my house on a Ducati with a bottle of champagne. Indeed.

Thanks a million to Diana for her efforts in trying to show us her pictures from the Jason fan encounter in New Orleans on the set of ‘The Expendables’! Another photo has made it through via email. She says, “Jason has just left his bodyguard on the corner (across the street from me!!!)and is walking down Girod Street to TOOLS for a photo shoot then filming on The Expendables. Friday, May 15, 2009.”

Robin Leach has reported in his Vegas Deluxe.com blog that ‘The Expendables’ movie premiere will be held at Planet Hollywood in Vegas. According to all accounts, the film is scheduled to be released in April of 2010 (IMDB says April 23rd) so it’s safe to assume that this event will probably be around then. Time to schedule our Vegas vacations! Ha!
Other mentions of Jason…one positive and one not so positive…are first a comparison between John Cena and Jason in Metro.co.uk.
Cena certainly has the muscle for the job but he lacks charisma.
I never thought I’d say this but it would have been better with Jason Statham.
The second mention is just a piece about how the way you hold your drink reveals your personality in Telegraph.co.uk. They speculate that Jason is closet to this personality type. What do you think?

Thanks to Betty for sending me this link from someone who saw, photographed and talked to Jason at LAX! The pic was uploaded on Monday, May 25th so he must have been headed back to New Orleans for filming. The person claimed to have had a “short chat” with Jason so I submitted a comment to ask for the details of that fan encounter and added the address to this blog. I’m hoping they respond and tell us everything. I must say, even from the back, Jason looks hot!

My wonderful husband is celebrating his birthday today! I wanted to just wish him a very Happy Birthday! He’s always so supportive of my blogging hobby and is unbelievably patient while I work on my site daily. As much as I enjoy Jason Statham, I have to admit that I wouldn’t trade my sweetie pie for him for the world. Sorry Jason. The only way I can relate these pics to Jason is that the one thing my hubby envies our boy for are the “leading ladies” he’s had over the years. So I dedicate this hot break to Mr. Jayfan…Happy Birthday baby and enjoy!

If anybody is hoping to catch a glimpse of the stars in ‘The Expendables’, read this BlogNola.com article for the shooting location for the next few days. Since the recent Jason sighting was from the Memorial Day weekend, he’s probably back in New Orleans for filming now.

The Sun is reporting that Guy Ritchie is really scripting a musical to possibly star Jason. They say he’s seriously considering remaking Guys and Dolls. Didn’t really know in the past if this was for real, but it may be.

Jason’s name is brought up in several unrelated pieces this morning. They’re very small mentions, but I thought it was interesting how recognizable and popular Jason Statham has become. People can now use his name in vain and nobody says “Who?”
