Thanks to ladystatham69 for finding this Jason calendar for 2010 on Amazon.com!  Don’t know who’s putting it out, what size it is or what the monthly photos are, but it’s still pretty cool.

CinemaBlend.com has a behind-the-scenes video from ‘The Expendables’ set in Brazil.  Jason’s not in the footage, but they say To Be Continued so we can only hope he will make an appearance in future clips.  I remember Sheryl Main saying that Jason was in the plane shown in the video.  How cool for him to have been able to be in that craft?

And speaking of Sheryl, she actually was the one who posted the video first on her blog…Ethelmae’s Blog.  I wanted to give kudos to her for doing that.  She also says that she’ll be in New Orleans next week already and will keep us posted.  Sheryl adds that she’s seen teaser posters for Cannes and will be posting that and a few more behind-the-scenes photos in the near future.  Wow!  Cannes is scheduled for March 2010 so it looks like ‘The Expendables’ will be screened there.

Thanks to stathamfan for this NextModelMen link of a pap pic of Jason leaving Real Food Daily in West Hollywood yesterday!  They specialize in organic vegan cuisine.  Looks like our boy is going healthy.  I recently saw Amy Smart in an interview and she is a vegetarian.  Maybe she influenced him a little during their friendship and filming of ‘Crank: HV’.

Stathamfan brought it to our attention this morning from Cub-land.blogspot.com and I found another mention on GayTimes.co.uk about a quote supposedly made by Jason about how he doesn’t like to wear thongs during ”bed scenes”.  There’s always been speculation that Jason is well-endowed in real life.  Only his girlfriends, doctors and gym mates know for sure.  The occasional  sizable bulge in his pants we see in photos, which is rare, lends some truth to the rumor.   Maybe that’s why Jason doesn’t like to wear tight pants.  And even though he was shot from afar, we swear we still saw his manhood in the nude scene in ‘Death Race’.  Too bad someone wasn’t rolling tape during this quote.  I would have liked to see how he said it.  Was it in jest or was he serious?

We all know that Jason’s a big fan of fellow British boxer Ricky Hatton.  There’s going to be a live pay-per-view showing of the Hatton/Pacquiao fight in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand on Saturday, May 2nd at 3:30pm (the fight is in Manila).  Odds are that he might be there for the event…I mean in Vegas…since he doesn’t have to report to ‘The Expendables’ New Orleans set until May 11th.  Of course, he could always order it for himself and just watch it on his telly in the comfort of his own home.  But we’ll still keep an eye out for him in Vegas anyway.

According to TorrentFreak.com ’Crank: High Voltage’ was the 3rd most pirated (downloaded) movie this week.  That might explain the low turnout in U.S. theatres.  Everybody has the movie for themselves already!  As a Jason fan, that’s really not good news to me.  People are getting the movie for free while loyal fans like us dish out the bucks to support our man.  It’s like the Napster of old for movie buffs.

An Orlando Sentinel writer weighed in on whether or not he could envision Jason in the Charles Bronson role of  ’The Mechanic’ remake.  He thought Jason would be good in the role as a hitman, but thought ‘The Eiger Sanction’ remake would have been a better choice.  Well, we know Jason plays a hitman in the ‘Crank’ movies so it’s not totally an alien role for him.
