PopSyndicate.com has a DVD movie review of ‘Chaos’.  We’ve had a couple of those since the film’s DVD release.  I guess some people are finding the movie because of the recent events concerning Wesley Snipes.  That’s okay.  As long as more people get to see Jason at work in these movies…I’m okay with that. 

Finally we get pictures of Jason in L.A., just out and about.  Looks like he went shopping to me.   I wonder what he bought?  The Rex Feature photos aren’t that great and our boy looks a little annoyed, but it’s something.  I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot more of him now that he’s back in L.A.

Thanks to JasonFan for alerting us to Bai Ling’s website where she has posted pictures from the set of ‘Crank 2′!  There is one with Jason and it looks like she got punched in the nose.  Something I will relish seeing so very much if that’s the reason she has a bloody nose.   It would be better yet, if Jason is the one doing the punching!   Bai Ling has posted that Jason “is so cool and super nice! In the film I am chasing after him yes!”  That’s one lucky girl!

Mark your calendars!  Lionsgate has announced that they will be releasing ‘The Bank Job’ on DVD, Two Disc DVD and Blu-ray on Tuesday, July 15th.  Wow!  That’s like the fourth Jason movie this year to be released on DVD.  What a year our boy is having!  There will be bonus material and special features on the disc, but they’re still working on it so there are little details.  I’m looking forward to owning a copy for my Jason collection….which, by the way, is growing so fast that I’m losing storage space.  This is definitely Jason’s year!

Devoted Jason fan, gecko, has emailed me articles from France with interviews and great pictures!  It’s hard to read it (a little blurry), but the wonderful pictures are worth the upload to the Statham Fan Gallery.  Thank you very much, gecko for your all your work and for sharing Jason news from your homeland. 

Thanks to loyal Jason fangirl, gecko for emailing me information from France about the filming of ‘Transporter 3′!  She relays that because of bad weather…in particular snow…they have delayed filming of the movie.  Gecko was confused as to how Jason could be in two places at once since filming for ‘Crank 2′ has started this week.  I just speculated that maybe the actual production of the film will start and he doesn’t really have to be there yet.  They could possibly film other actor’s scenes or do some location shots.  But I really appreciate getting local Jason news from wherever he’s actually working.  Pretty cool that Jay has fans literally all over the world who can come together here.  Thanks again, gecko!

I’ve held my tongue recently about Kelly’s breakup with Billy.  At the time there didn’t seem much reason to talk about it since most mentions about Jason were just that he was an ex-boyfriend.  But now The Daily Mail has reported that Kelly Brook has been in contact with Jason ever since their split, that they’re ”good friends” and that he’s helping her get through all this.  I don’t know how much of that is true or not, but I do believe that Jay was still close to her parents because they loved him and according to this EntertainmentWise.com report, Kelly’s dad wanted Kelly and Jason to get back together again.   One of the articles mentioned that Jason was seeing someone now, but we all here at Statham Fan have speculated that his relationship with Alex is a not a serious one.  Well…if Jason and Kelly do get back together again, I won’t be against it.  Lots of time has passed since their split.  Both have matured and experienced lots of things in life (good and bad) since then and perhaps they can approach a renewed relationship differently this time.  Of course, Jason would have to convince Vinnie Jones of that!

BTW, the picture is of the MTV Movie Awards in the summer of 2004, right before the breakup.

I’m going to take a little moment here to vent.  I may regret talking about this, but I want to see what you think.  Couple of you have already emailed me asking about this and I appreciate your concern.  Recently, I’ve made what I thought were a couple goofy posts on the Adrien Brody website, for which visitors have blasted me (and scared the hell out of me, too).   I’ve since been asked to edit one of the posts…the one where I slammed Adrien’s girlfriend…all in fun, mind you.   I don’t try to be controversial and I don’t slam Adrien, but people have taken what I’ve written as serious commentary,  and one even accused me of being prejudiced because I called some people “more cultured and refined” than “his usual hip-hop friends.”  I don’t see how that comment could illicit pillaging and rioting.   I was just trying to be entertaining instead of posting the usual boring straight news stuff that the webmistress encourages.  It’s never been my intention to anger any visitors to either blogsite.  I only aim to entertain.  Hey, that rhymes!  Anyway…I’m probably going to take a break from posting on Brodylicious which will give me more time to concentrate on this site.  Wahoo!  Don’t stop visiting Mag’s Adrien Brody site.  She’s a decent person and deserves your company.  I’m just tired of all the hostile, uptight people she attracts.  You guys are much more friendlier and laid back for me!  Thanks for being a great bunch of people! 

DVD.IGN.com has a pretty favorable movie review of the ‘War’ Blu-ray disc.  This is the first review of ‘War’ I’ve read who’s critic ranked the film rather high (7 out of 10).  And he also had really good things to say about Jason too!

Ever since I saw Statham in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, I’ve been a fan of this British-born actor. His precise combination of no-nonsense action and comedy (remember Handsome Rob in 2003’s The Italian Job?) proves to be a winner in my books. For some reason or another, Statham continues to remind me of a cuddlier and more refined version of former English soccer star and tough guy actor, Vinnie Jones (Juggernaut, X-Men: The Last Stand). That said, Statham is always a joy to watch and he is in his element playing tough guys with a sense of humor. It’s just too bad that War doesn’t allow for any comedy but Statham still comes up tops in this one.
