‘The Transporter’ was the first movie I saw with Jason Statham that made me sit up and go “Wow! Who’s that guy?” I’ve been smitten ever since. Now there is planning in the works to shoot a third ‘Transporter’ film starting next spring. I’m kind of torn about that revelation. On the one hand, ‘Transporter II’ wasn’t as great as the first one. The fight and action scenes were still great, but the storyline bit it big time. And the bad guys were so lame, even though it was nice that he had one of his best friends, Jason Flemyng in the movie. I hope the writers take the story back to Europe and give us a meatier plot and a more believable romance for Frank this time around. Seeing Frank drive around the French seaside and countryside was breathtaking! Yes, I’m an American, but where in the states except in the desert would Frank be able to drive like a maniac at mind-boggling speeds without being pulled over by a cop trying to make his monthly quota of issuing tickets?

“a more believable romance for Frank”
I hope that will cue the return of Qi Shu

NO, not Shu Qi! She was just a fling back then. There was no real love with her. Frank needs to fall in love. Risk his life for someone who really matters this time.
